Their brokerage was founded in 1931 by Percy Mahoney. Percy built the foundation of their firm one policy at a time. He took great pride in providing local families, businesses and farmers with customized insurance protection. In 1960 the Percy family sold the brokerage to Ivan Charles Day. Mr. Day would go door-to-door servicing his customers by hand delivering renewals, claims checks and collecting insurance premiums. Ivan was a pillar in the Keswick community for over 40 years, he was a highly respected businessman who always generously gave back to the community he helped protect.
